Landscape
Never one to sit still, I'm constantly out and about searching for locations, ideas and inspiration. The biggest wish with my photography is that someone is inspired to visit these places, to get outside or to lace up their boots and charge their camera batteries...basically, to have the same excitement I do when I step outside.
I update, re-work and re-take images with the one and only aim of representing a scene or memory in the most faithful and beautiful way possible. The below collections are both old and new, both niche and wide in their subject matter, and both by a "lucky beginner" and someone a little more practiced.
They mark some of my favourite images to date and something I'm proud of.
What did it feel like to be in that moment?
I specialise in capturing beautiful, artistic photography that centres around the landscape and our relationship with it. With every picture I try and recreate the unique sense of what it meant to be there at that precise moment.
I take my camera pretty much everywhere with me, be it day trip, hike or bicycle ride. The images I take reflect the different environments, trips and seasons of the UK. Some were planned shots, with a tripod and copious time at hand, whereas others were totally spontaneous and serendipitous. Often these end up being my favourite.
Below is a a little snapshot (excuse the pun!) of some of my most recent work.
